Where to write
contact@imgsed.net is the only one, and a human reads it. For a question about a lookup, tell us which handle you typed, the result you hoped for and the one you actually got. A screenshot often saves a whole exchange of emails. Please don’t include passwords or identity papers: they are of no use to us, and we prefer not to have them.
How long it takes
Most mail is answered no later than two working days after it lands. If you are sending a copyright notice, expect an answer in 48 hours or less; the takedown page explains what to include and how removal works.
What only Instagram can do
A locked or hijacked account, a forgotten password, a record of who saw your stories: all of that lives inside Instagram, and only the help centre inside Instagram can do anything about it. Nor can we reopen a private profile or recover a story once it has expired.
